Intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy is a non-invasive and non-ablative treatment that uses high-intensity pulses of visible light to improve the reduction of hair growth on the face and body. IPL can also treat:

HOW DOES IPL WORK?
IPL works using similar principles to laser technology, delivering controlled light energy into the skin to target specific concerns safely and effectively.
The light energy is absorbed by targeted pigment or blood vessels within the skin, where it is converted into heat energy to help reduce unwanted pigmentation, redness, and visible vascular concerns while supporting overall skin rejuvenation.
Unlike traditional lasers that use a single wavelength, IPL delivers multiple wavelengths of light in each pulse. Advanced filters are used to refine and customise the energy, allowing us to safely target different skin concerns with precision while supporting optimal skin health.

Laser Genesis™ delivers skin rejuvenation in a pain-free, 30-minute treatment with NO downtime. To improve the appearance of overall redness, improves texture, refines enlarged pores, and activates collagen remodeling and elastin with age management benefits, while also targeting unwanted brown spots as well as microvasculature and rosacea.
The Excel V+ laser boasts exceptional versatility, functioning with three lasers in one, featuring a 532nm wavelength for targeting superficial vessels, a 1064nm wavelength for addressing deep vessel networks, and a Genesis component.
With a unique skin cooling system and adjustable energy delivery, the Excel V+ can be customised to individual skin needs, providing more precise treatment and minimising the risk of complications for improved results.
The Genesis component effectively treats tiny blood vessels responsible for background redness and flushing on the skin.
Excel V+ delivers clinically proven results on a wide range of skin concerns. The treatments are comfortable and fast, with most treatments performed in under 10 minutes. Depending on the area(s) and concerns being treated, some procedures may take up to 30 minutes.
With Excel V+, most skin concerns require only one to two treatment sessions to achieve results. However, the number of treatments will vary based on your condition and treatment plan. We will discuss a customised treatment plan during your consultation.
Excel V+ treatments can feel similar to a quick rubber band snap against the skin. Depending on the procedure, a cooled treatment tip will be in contact with the skin to protect and provide additional comfort to the area. A topical anesthetic can be made available to improve your treatment experience. Laser Genesis skin rejuvenation treatments feel like warm raindrops, a comfortable experience.
Typically, you can wear make-up and return to normal activities immediately. Redness and/or swelling can be expected following treatment. For full face treatments, any swelling may peak 24 to 48 hours post-treatment and usually resolves within a few days Your provider may recommend aftercare options to support swelling as needed. Treated brown spots will darken following the treatment and slough off within 3 to 5 days. Follow all aftercare advice for best care and results.
All skin is different and individual concerns and conditions vary. Upon completion of your treatment plan, we will provide professional recommendations to maintain the best long-term results and schedule annual review dates to support healthy skin for life with a complimentary annual review.
For treatment of targeted concerns, we will discuss recommendations at the consultation, a standard rule is 1-3 treatments though there may be adjustments to a treatment plan for advanced skin revision cases, and results reviewed annually.
We recommend a course of 6-8 treatments of Laser Genesis every 12 - 18 months.
- The face is gently cleansed to remove any surface residue.
- A gel is applied to the skin to allow the laser handpiece to glide over the skin easily.
- Specialist goggles are placed over the eyes to protect them from the laser’s intense light.
- Depending on the treatment selected, you may feel warm raindrops or mild discomfort is felt from the pulses of the laser. It can be explained as being flicked with a rubber band.
- Afterward treatment, soothing cool air, and ice may be applied to the skin to reduce swelling and bruising.
- Treatment may be recommended to follow with LED Therapy to aid healing.
- Swelling or bruising can occur for several days after treatment.
